On the road again

"I was surprised, as always, by how easy the act of leaving was, and how good it felt. The world was suddenly rich with possibility."

-Jack Kerouac, On The Road

September 15th, 2016.

I've been dreaming of this day for a long time. After months of planning and preparation, it's finally time to depart. It's been incredible seeing this journey grow from a simple idea born of passion and wanderlust into what it is today. It goes without saying but thanks so much to everyone who has supported this vision. In the final months leading up to today, it has become clear that this wouldn't have been possible without the help and generosity of others.

My toolkit for the next 4-months

Home sweet home

Paige and Randy were sad to see me go

But they came around in the end

First stop is New Iberia, LA about 4-hours east of Houston and then on to New Orleans tomorrow. Time to go find some good cajun food and explore this unique part of the country.
